[No quote of the blank today, I'm not on my own computer.]
It's noon and I just woke up on the 5th of July. That is because last night =
halfdemondog, her parents and myself went to go see my first drive-in movie. We saw Up and Earth (the first was much better than the second) and I also saw my first fireflies and
heard my first bats (I'd seen them before, but only in a car). It was great, except for when we got too tired and had to try to sleep in the car, at which point =
halfdemondog's parents were in the car as well, and kept commenting on the movie very loudly. That got obnoxious quickly. I did hear the rest of the movie, though. I liked Up better. (Super cute and it made me cry twice :< )
The movies didn't end until about 1:00 in the morning, though, and then we drove home. I woke up to a police officer at our window, apparently for speeding. Freaked me out. But we got home just fine at about 2:15, at which point I couldn't sleep for another hour because I'd gotten my second-sort-of-wind. Stayed at =
halfdemondog's house because I didn't want to bug my father walking in super early in the morning.
Anyway, that's just what happened yesterday. What's been happening recently in my life is that I'm working on my Culminating Project for high school, and for my project I'm making a short (that's 5-10 minutes kind of short) documentary and I've been busy so far doing my research. I'm finishing up "Making Documentaries and Reality Videos" by Barry Hampe. It's a good book, lots of information, but it's pretty heavy and I'm kind of being rushed to read it. Next week my community adviser and I will meet again and make a schedule for making the film.
Needless to say, I'll be busy.
In August, I'm taking a weekend-long motorcycle safety course and will get my endorsement. From there I'll have three months to get my driver's license(I already know how to drive, it's not fair :< ) before my endorsement is void. So I'll be doing driver's ed as well.
When school starts the Drama 3 class will be doing the school play because of budget cuts (the drama department got cut in half with the rest of the clubs... and it's not even a club: it's got the same qualifications as a sport, and none of the sports got cut at all. :< Boo for bad categorizing), and we'll be performing a full-length play in a shorter time than we're used to. So I'll be busy then as well. (We're performing The Musical Comedy Mysteries of 1940, I'm pretty sure.)
And then when November comes along, I'll be attending
Aki-Con with, as far as I understand, ~
TV-HERO, ~
kh-rules-sushi and a few other people, as Team Naught (or something XD). We'll be doing a basketball-team-organization cosplay, as far as I understand, and I'll be the cheerleader as Larxene. So I'm looking forward to that :> *hopes she'll have enough money for the costume after this stupid documentary*
I think that's it for now. Basically: I'll be busy. I will, however, be online as much as I possibly can. I think that's all for now--ciao!
