But speaking of computers, my new laptop will be ariving soon (and then I won't be able to get it for another week and a half, but that's okay) so I might be able to get online more. I have a lot of time after school now since my bus home only comes every hour and a half, so I can probably take my computer and go to some free wifi place and actually upload things and such :> So yeah!

Well! I'm back for the time being. We've moved and in the new house I don't have even the slightest bit of internet. I was checking my messages at school, but then... there was this two week break. So... that didn't work out so well.

So I'm at Dad's to have Christmas with his family, and I figured I'd upload some of the crap I've been holding off on... and then I realized that I've got a lot of that and I'm sorry that I'm totally spamming your inboxes. Sorry about that... >3>;

So I've posted some of the artwork I've been working on and the costume I did a while ago that I just now was able to get online. I wrote some things, too... but I haven't really been putting my writing on dA for a while. Or anywhere, really. So I probably won't upload that.

Um, um, um... let's see... I'm almost done with my Senior Culminating Project! The documentary is finished and in a few days I'm having a public screening. If you live near me, let me know if you're interested and I'll fill you in on the details. After that I've got a bunch of paperwork and everything to turn in... and an essay... and my project portfolio... and then I have my final presentation. Hopefully I'll pass that (I should, most people do... it's not very hard) and then I won't have to deal with this project. I'm sorry... I love this documentary but I am so sick of watching it. Usually I don't get sick of a movie like this. I keep watching my old work even after I've watched it a million times... but this... ugh. Love it to death. Never want to watch it again.

Also, we are completely moved in... I've found my reference books and my video camera, so I'm not really panicking anymore. I didn't, however, find a couple Christmas presents that I got a while ago for other people... so I had to find other things. I'll explain to them that I'll try to find them as soon as possible and hopefully they'll be okay with the chocolate coated hazelnuts in the meantime :<

I've got a page or two started on the comic, which I will hopefully start updating again sometime in January. I can't guarantee anything because I've been super busy and haven't worked on it much, but at least I'm trying...

That said, I still won't be on except for school and when I finally get down to my dad's house. So let's hope I get internet at home soon, becuase the messages and webcomic updates are piling up... *sigh*

Updating at school. Thanksgiving weekend I had two performances, strike, and had to move out of the old house completely. There were a lot of heavy things in it and at this point I've figured, hey, who needs a back that works, anyway?

I've lost my culminating project portfolio in the move, into which I have recently put the main proof that I actually did this project myself, which is a spiral notebook about halfway full with notes about my project, of which I have absolutely no copy, and which I started working on in June.

There are also very large spiders in several of the boxes I have to sort through in order to find it.

Said spiders appear to be pregnant.

They are not small, therefore I cannot pick them up and put them outside.

I want my porfolio back. I am so angry at life.

Also, I had to drive forty mintues to take a shower this morning. That totally rocked my world. We couldn't take showers at the new house today because they haven't turned the hot water on. I'm not sure I want to take a shower in that water regardless of its temperature because it is positively seeping with sulfur. I can't smell anything and I can smell the sulfur in it. It's gross.

On the upside, I had chai this morning.

The play is over and I never have to wear that stupid lipstick again if I don't want.

Sensei gave me a break from karate for two weeks (one of which is up now), so that I could finish the play and get situated in the new house.

That also means I don't have to worry about promotion, which would be a big pain in the ass becuase I am so not ready, we would have to spar and I can't, we would have to study a bunch of Japanese terms that I know but can't spell, and I would have to get my kata ready that simply isn't. But I don't have to deal with it.

I got a new, fuzzy bathrobe and slippers and every time I get up in the morning I feel like I'm missing a pipe, thick-rimmed glasses and a newspaper. And maybe some orange juice and bacon for breakfast. Just to complete the "50's Dad" image.

I borrowed Mom's delightfully warm plaid jacket, so I am delightfully warm.

I get to buy my amazing costume from the play, and I will post pictures of that play soon. Probably into my scraps.

I have both my binders for school! They have not been lost in packing. So I can actually do my work.

I didn't have homework over the weekend.

I found out that I don't have to worry about paying for the Scotland trip this summer.

I now live in a real house that's warm and dry and doesn't have mold or too many spiders. Although... it does have a lot of dead pill bugs. That's a bit gross.

I'm exhausted, but I did get a good night's sleep last night and I id get to take a nice hot shower this morning.

And plenty of other things, I'm sure.




BUT. Right now I think I'm going to stop this rant that I entirely didn't expect anyone to read. If you did, I appreciate your waste of time. To sumarize: lots of things are going wrong but lots of things are also going well.
The five-minute bell has rung, so I'm off to a class that I don't really want to take but I'm sure will do me some good sometime in the future. Who knows.

I am still on hiatus, by the way. I still don't have internet at home. :>

So I'm moving... into a house that probably doesn't have wifi nearby that I can steal (or borrow from my awesome neighbors who gave me their password). My Gran's moving in with us and she'll most probably want to get internet, and most probably not wifi. Which is good for me, since the wifi antenna on my computer sucks and only works 1/3 of the time.

So!

All that to say, I probably won't be on very much in the coming few weeks. Gran can't move in with us until her house sells, so it's very likely I won't have internet at home at all for quite a while. I can try for school and at my dad's, but I won't be on as often, anyhow.
